USA...as in United States of Africa ?

Ghaddafi is on the road again. He is in Ghana now and he is promoting the United Africa issue. Do You people think this is possible ? last time I spoke to some people  from another African country they vehemently opposed this.

it is possible if african presidents had fresh minds. minds with total freedom from reliance ndikuziderera. nothing is impossible about USA. how come others have done it and not Africans with all resources at hand? it only requires time and effort to achieve it. however, mzunguso can not be happy to see africa unite and probablywould use anything at his disposal to derail it. he knows that by division, he can rule us as he does. nzungu has always one thing in mind: {devide and rule} and in the same process he steals or take away good things we have. thats the way they live. by stealing.

USA, this is a good idea indeed and we can see some big changes in a couple of decades. Vuto ndi kusamvetsesa ife anthu akuda ndi nsanje, this can lead into fighting and more fighting. The rich African countries wouldnt agree to this. Who wouldnt want to run away from Udzudzu and settle in Nigeria or South Africa?

Actually the Richer countries have more to gain. If You go to Nigeria most likely you would be an employee but those folks have enough money to buy out Lilongwe and charge you for walking on the streets. I dont think it should go that far but I would say that we need to improve communications. Better roads...Highways, I would even contend a single phone system. Unify when selling to foreign markets. It was hard for Malawi to negotiate with the UK ..its even harder to negotiate with the EU. We need to form a real economic block too.

U know that we lack opportunities that avail to the few that have the resources, if we had equal footing we should have been talking different stories here.

You think so Bingiza ? I think its not always about resources..sometimes it is just about wanting something. We arent willing to pay the price..I think. For US ( of Africa  ) to exist we, at this moment now, we would have to make sacrifces. These sacrifces would benefit future generations of Africa because lets be true a united African state  would not really benefit us in our lifetime, however eventually it could be  soemthing wonderful. just like the states in america gave up some power to the federal government in USA ( of america ) or just like some kids go to good colleges after their parents protected a college fund for years...someone just has to make a sacrifice for the better of an African future and if  Africans wont.....then really who will ?

Firstly Abu must count out Amikhe in his consignment of 'opanda nzeru.'

Secondly, Amikhe must point out that if our leaders have no vision at all, then expect us to remain stagnant.

I concer with NJIBA. sacrificing is the most important thing. those we se today or regard them as developed, their forefathers sacrificed a lot. they had long term plans that are implemented generation after generation. African leaders need not to look at what they are going to get as pioneers, but what benefit will their offsprings derive from the USA

You will see others who will want to get the lion's share. Gaddafi himself will want to be another Bush of this USA.

Baseless? i doubt it. its a continental desease that African leaders seek ultimate power, and presently its people like the Gaddafi, Mbeki, Mugabe, Mubarac etc i mean the so called Afican giants who want the continental leadership over our USA! Then we gonna have the minors fighting for state governorship and regional governorship. And when people of the Taylor type looses what happens? they go into the bush with thier American supplied guns to topple legitmate authorities. Thats my imaginery United States of Africa for you!!!!!

Mbeki doesnt think this is a good idea. He said poor countries need to grow on themselves first!
