Court stops woman from stalking Katsonga

The High Court in Lilongwe has rescued Defence Minister Davis Katsonga from a woman he says was pestering him, The Nation has established.
According to official records, on April 10, 2007 , the court granted the minister an injunction restraining Miss Dalasce Pelekamoyo from troubling him.
According to the injunction, which The Nation accessed at the Lilongwe District Registry under Civil Case No. 335 of 2007 yesterday, the court has warned Pelekamoyo that any actions contrary to the order are tantamount to contempt of court.
It is hereby ordered that the defendant be restrained by herself or her agents, employees or servants and others whatsoever from going to the plaintiffs house or office, sending the plaintiff irritating text messages, phoning the plaintiff, harassing, pestering and generally meddling with the life of the plaintiff and pursuing any conduct which amounts to harassment to the plaintiff until the determination of action herein or until further order, reads the injunction in part.
The order further says if Pelekamoyo wishes to apply for variation of the order, she should inform the ministers legal practitioners in writing within a period of not less than 48 hours.
The court could, however, not allow The Nation to access details of the case, arguing that the matters raised were strictly private.
Katsonga confirmed applying for the injunction against Pelekamoyo in an interview on Sunday, but said the matter was private.
Pelekamoyo also acknowledged receipt of the injunction in an interview yesterday but declined to comment further.
I am aware of the issue, but I think its too early to speak to reporters. I have just received them [the papers], she said.

Makes me wonder the girl is the daughter of former governor of RBM, why is she stalking an old man like Katsonga? Timva.

I really dont blame her. Ngati inu mukumamuopa mumati atani? She is old enough to know what is right and what is wrong. Brighter minds than mine have come to no conclusion about affairs. Again, I dont blame the lady.

There's always two sides to a story so i will hold my opinion until i hear both sides.

........the whys and wherfores in this case are abit questionable.........plus this is supposed to be a private affair so............ehmmmm!!!!

Lucious Banda once sung "usamuyambe mwana wa yini ulibe kalikonse",I believe the Minister thought he was being "clever",playing"away"games with Dalasce and here he is now rushing to the court to protect him from what he himself started.Reminds me of that film by the Wayan brothers,"Dont be a menace while drinking your juice in South Central L A",in that film there was this girl who I believe Marlon or whatshisname was trying to "bed"but she seemed innocent and reluctant and warned him about the dangers of his behaviour if she got turned on and when she finally did submit to his wishes she turned into a vampire or something I cant remember very well and the dude had to literally run for his dear life,apa ndi awa a minister akumuopa mkazi!!weirdface

But as others have said Dalasce is old enough to know exactly what she wants,I believe she is now 31 years old,koma ndiye mpakana Minister wanthunthu kuyiopa game,munganya uwu ni chibwatiko!weirdface

However I find the behaviour of the minister a bit odd,a hypocrite to be precise, bearing in mind that he is a convicted blackmailer.He was convicted in the UK of blackmailing a woman into having a sexual affair way back in 1992,Life stinks indeed!weirdface

Lets hope the minister will not loose his job and the Dalasce thing wil not be sent out of the country. Anthu adziopa kuthila mbalume mwa ana a francis for fear of loosing their jobs.

the problem is that the girls were brought up in a cage,the  father tried hard to send them to girls xools and the result is all these stories,onse are failing to get men and am told the father has got them a superrette business at Kamuzu Academy kuti mwina akunja nkuwaona.

Imagine the how did francis' daughter came to know the contact details of the honourable minister (if at all he fit to be called such). Dalase has good body guys I remember in my old school days people stopped talking when she was passing by. Let the minister pay for whatever he asked from the good lady.
The President has been bitter with alot of injunctions being issued by our judicial system, some of these injunctions should not be granted otherwise the system will be suffocated byb these unnecessary injunctionsfurious.


Ngwazi is saying the just truth. Imagine how the good lady(

Since when did Malawians start using the word stalking? kupoyiliratu uku! On second thoughts, it might be that a minisita anamufunsila mwanayu mkupeza zimene amafuna and run away! He is sounding like a hypocrite. Or the girl was too serious. Or maybe she want the Minister to reap what he sow. The problem is that we have heard one side of the story.
