I know the guy, he was one of the most feared man for his cruelty. He was the leader of a notorious gang in Zingwangwa.

Is he the same guy whose house was torched because he was believed to have been involved in kidnapping? is it the same guy anakamulanda galimoto Micheal Scot (yomwe anapatsidwa ndi Atcheya - with a AYIMANSO number plate)? Is is the same guy who was also involved with the Mwitha's? Is is the same guy who was believed to be at the centre of Katapira in Btown?

Mavuto Phombeya was once a soldier. He was suspended from the Malawi Defence Force (Malawi Army then) for gross indiscepline and was later expelled. His friends from the Army used to visit him. He together with his friends terrorised Zingwangwa and the sorrounding areas. He used to smoke chamba in public. The police feared him. He raped innocent girls. I remember to have seen him beating teachers at Zingwangwa Primary School for no apparent reason. He used to put on camourfrage ragalia. He was a very bad person.

Akuti he has been buried today at Chitawira Cemetery. He changed his life and was a pastor at his church. Fans yonse ya mu Blantyre inali kumeneko.

You never know maybe he has gone to heaven.

He was well known for Killing people and selling body parts and he was found with a dead body in his Fridge last month February 2007

Yes ,this guy was known with different names Mabvuto Phombeya or Mabvuto Mawindo and his Street name was Hammer.
