I am sick and tired of hearing women screaming on top of their voices about wanting equality of the sexes. I really think all their rapping is annoying if not downright boring . I know what the ladies must be thinking:" oh God another chauvinist pig ! ! ! ". Infact I am one dude who really thinks women CAN be looked upon as being equal to men . BUT ( and that is a big BUT ) if the ladies really want and believe in gender equality they should prove it and not just sing it . Don't just talk the the walk , walk the walk. Actions speak louder than words my dear senoritas. Stop looking down on yourselves and prove to the world that you too are worth the mettle.
my my!!! where are you from man???? better look out explore this world wake up and do not generalise the whole female population to just them losers you know who aren't walking the walk buddy!!!
Tell you what why don't you tell us what you've come across so far like type of ladies you've seen who aren't walking the walk - coz my friend its happening and am one of them who is making it happen and there are a lot of women out there who are making things happen who are taking this equality seriously and actually practicing it in all aspects of life. Lots of expamples from TV to famous people and definitely me and many of Malawian women out there so buddy next time you wanna give u advise research first, see whats happening, ask other people then write!!!! don't just sit there generalise women according to them losers you know - PLEASE!!!!
Hey Jade ,I'm thrilled to hear that there are ladies like yourself with guts. Please don't get me wrong ; I'm not saying that there are'nt any senoritas making it in life. I , myself, can give you several names. However my point is that if you figure out the number of women who are actually making it in Malawi and then compare that to the number of women in this country you will notice that it is just a drop in the ocean.Don't forget that there are more women than men in this country so I personally feel that women should have the upper hand. By the way I was raised by my mother and she was one gutsy lady and that's why I truly believe that women have the potential of doing better than men .(get rid of the PH.D syndrom). GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER SISTERS ! ! !

I totally understand your view on how sickening it is to hear people (women in this case) going on and on about eqaulity etc.I myself being a young woman, believe in myself and all the education, skills and experience I have to know that I will make it big in life. And I know I do not have to open my mouth or carry placards and fliers calling men chauvinists and demanding I be looked at and placed on a level equal to men simply because I already know that I can go against any man in anything and do it just as good if not better than him.And making a spectacle of myself with all the chanting and raving that is the characteristic of those who march etc demanding rights doesn't bring glory to my purpose of proving to the world that I, a very young Malawian girl, will make it in life simply by using my brain and tact to make it in life.
As for the comment 'God is a chauvinist pig", I will not sink that low by saying or ever believing in that because God is God and I can never ever disrespect Him like that. We in our human nature are the ones who brought about this whole 'men are better/women are better" thing about with our pride etc.As you said Roadrunner 'actions speak louder than words' and every intelligent woman out there knows better than to go on and on about this thing here. I was raised by my mom alone and that for me was a revelation that a woman has the capability to do anything and everything using her intelligence, wisdom and education just like every man can. And I know a lot of women who have made it big back home and yeah we can't compare their net dollar values of their achievements to that of the women here simply because of the power of the greenback.Either way, they have made it. Should success be measured by the dollar value of your achievement or by the fact that you put your all in something, woked hard night and day and achieved great results that brought pride and contentment to you?I go for the latter and therefore I'll say that there are a lot of Malawian women who have worked very hard and made it even without men showing that women are just as determined and as intelligent as men.
Bottom line is, ladies can do it all just like men can and it's about time for those women who yap on and on about equal rights to stop with the whingeing and just do what the other successful women worldwide have done: work hard and let the fruits of their labor do the talking.
