what?? kamuzu day

Our old politicians need edukweshon eeetu eee!

When will our politicians learn that we have too many holi days already. 13 holi days in a year that's not healthy for a chronically sick economy like ours. Don't you agree Goodall Gondwe. It's sad to hear GG advocating for another holiday when we already have too many already.

I suggest that Mr President Kasupe will not assent to this sick idea called private members motion. But being Kasupe wa ma holi day let us wait.

i have always admired mzati nkolokosa, the quickness of his wit and unbiased thinking.read below.he goes beyond the one straight mentality and views kamuzu from different prisms.

we cannot avoid thinking about his other face, that of a dictator. How do we balance the two faces in that as we honour him, we should not lose our history that he was a dictator?
Lest we forget, to remember that Kamuzu was a dictator is one thing, to dishonour him yet another. That he was a dictator must be accepted even by those who love him and this must be told to our children. I am still waiting for our academic historians to write a coherent history of his dictatorial regime. Much of our history is in memory of the few who are silent. It is in knowing and accepting that we can avoid pitfalls of the past. But we must also, at the same time, accept that Kamuzu did not just rule but took Malawi higher from where he found it. Some only want to rule Malawi. Accepting such reality of his faces is neither a dishonour nor mere political praise. But a fact!

We indeed need to cull out a holiday for the late ngwazi(R.I.P) He achieved a lot during his tenure and was a man of vision. He managed to break the stupid federation but was still friends with the queen of england (labiti elizabeti)

Malemu bwanawo anali ndi mbali yawo yoyipa(who hasn't) koma ma welazi awo ndi amene anapanga zambiri mu zina la kamuzu since nobody could question them. Dziko ngati malawi needs to be ruled with an iron fist, the bastards don't know whats good for them. Some people have to be forced to be free!
