the malawi government has reportedly hired a lawyer from the uk, a mr anthony derry to assist in the treason case against chilumpha and his accomplices. the pertaining question is why? are mbendera and khono associates coupled together with officers from the dpp( government machinery) not competent enough to handle the case? and the dpp mr wezi kayira reportedly said he does not know who will be handling the bill for the lawyer let alone what the lawyer is charging per hour,per day or per sitting. if this is the case , who summoned the lawyer? i thought he was in charge of these matters!

they better win the case or a hefty bill awaits the tax payer. oops!! they are already paying for it!!
