2009 TCHEYA WOYE???
Permalink Closed

I was recently shocked if not grabbed by fear when I heard manon'gon'go of Muluzi standing for elections in 2009.I bellive we all know the posibilities of having him elected are still very high. This is due to his heavy popularity in rular areas(obviuosly because of ma fifity).I have two questions to all my fellow countrymen,DOES POOR MALAWI NEED HIM AGAIN ?IF NOT ARE BINGU'S POLICIES HELPING THE RULAR MASSES.

those drunkards can be sobered, those cowards can be taught but stupidness last forever

I dont think Muluzi wiil ever rise again in malawi politcs.I think he's dead and gone.He cheated us for so long and malawians will never let him to cheat us again.Bingu is a geneuos and very capable man to take malawi into new heights.Come 2009 I dont see  him loosing and  I dont see muluzi even contesting.Your topic could have been Abingu woyee!

Tilibe naye ntchito m'jomba uja.

It would be so myopic of Malawians to vote for Atcheya as this man achieved nothing but corruption.

Bingu would have not spared this guy on those corruption charges. Just reminds me of Al Paccino MOVIE Carlito's Way (The enemy you spared  would come back to haunt you).

If Malawians Love their country then MULUZI is not the OPTION!!!!!1

carlito underestimated donny branco from the bronx,is that the enemy you refer to?anyway Bingu also plays dirty politics,he spared muluzi on grounds of appreciation,he wouldnt be where he is if it wasnt for muluzi.politics is a ping-pong game,chako-changa style.those who survive in politics are the ones with stamina,i guarantee you Bingu wont last long,he will be shoved in the dustbin of history like his predecessor.people like John zenasi are just waiting for him to slip up.they have been in the game for decades, bingu and muluzi have just been politictians for two minutes yet they think they are untochoubles.

malawi is progressing economically thanks to bingu, but there are other political realms which are no go zones for bingu, the moment he oversteps his jurisdiction his career will go amiss.there is a frenzy of new hungry blood coming in,muluzi can never stand a chance,he is like a broken hole in a forgotten field, politics is moving on,he is just a champ with a glass jaw,if there is one person who scares me in malawi politics is JT.i dont know how he does it but the man withstands heat.with all the people he killed, and all the bad press he been subjected to he can still command respect even to bingu.he is the one to look out for not muluzi.

unless we bring on a revolution, the young against the old.

it would be a mere waste of time and resources to let that man back on the helm. the courts would be filled with scqaubbles as aspirants and those advocating for his tenure attempt to get intrepration on the legitimacy of his contesting again (the constitution of malawi is not very vivid on this). and we should all bear in mind that muluzi should be attributed to the current chaos in malawi where by refuting advice form all stake holders , he went on and campained vigorously for muntharika who ditched him and his party whereby now, we have a minority government in power with only 6 or so legitimate seats in the legislature. we need not to mention that this has not been a healthy scenaro since the system was desinged on the 'majority rules' basis.

if the current trend advances udf will be split and the other parties will benefit from the development.

Both Bingu and Atcheya are of the same calibre. It will be a big mistake to vote for these guys. Lets try Amunandife Mkumba kapena Khamlepo. Nawonso apezeko ntchele!
